  • Ugh. PISSing.

Ok, I just learned that term, but it definitely applies to me. Glad I'm not the only one struggling with that. Lost around 7lbs on induction, now stuck - up and down a pound. Yesterday's menu:

    3 eggs w/mayo
coffee (sorry, must have it) w/half&half

Chicken w/mayo, lettuce & tomato salad

Dry roasted edamame snack (net carbs = 4) - crunch is essential

Roast beef w/broccoli & brussel sprouts

    Cheese stick

Lots of water all day and evening

Any ideas?? (Hope I don't have to give up my crunch)

    Thanks!

Have you seen edamame on the Acceptable Foods List?

If you want "crunch", have some vegetables instead.

    w/half&half
Half and half is not an Induction food. Cream would be fine, as long as you limit it to 2-3 tbsp per day.

How many net carbs are you having and how many come from vegetables?

How much water are you actually drinking?

'Post Induction Stall Syndrome' is a term often used to describe the way many people experience a scales 'hesitation' in the few weeks after their first 14 days on induction - though Dr Atkins defined a 'stall' as being '4 weeks with no inches or weight lost' so it really should be called 'Post Induction Hesitation Syndrome' but 'PIHS' is not such a memorable acronym.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

don't forget to check your inches cause PISS should really be post induction scale stall since it usually is a scale number phenom only. most folk are still shedding inches which is why they don't reach that 4 week stall threshhold when PISSing.
