    Birth Control and this WOE?

Has anyone had problems with being on birth control and losing weight? I am sure that is what is hindering my loss at this point. I am on the Ortho Evra Patch right now and have been since October.

I drink 128 ounces or more of water every day (less on weekends it seems lately) and exercise 30 minutes daily on my elliptical or bike ride. I am trying to strictly follow induction also.
highest weight 250 (9 months PG with 1st child)
    starting weight 225
    current weight 195
    goal weight 140
    Started: January 2003
    Restarted: Feb 4, 2005

OMG! I started Atkins in December and lost 12 pounds. In January, I started Ortho Evra and gained 15!!! So, I switched to Yasmine (which my doctor said contains a mild appetite suppressant). I have now finally lost the 15 I gained.

I'm not sure which chapter it's in, but Dr. Atkins did mention that some medications, especially hormone-based medications like birth control pills, can affect weight loss.....This is something you need to discuss with your physician
