  • Ketosis Question and Update

    Okay so I had the stomach flu. YUCK. I ate NOTHING on Monday at all. I think I made up for that Weds because I couldn't stop eating.

    So it's weird. My ketosis strips keeping turning but I don't have the same "symptoms" as I had last week: the constant thirst/dry mouth.

    Anyone else? Just feeling a little discouraged right now because I'm still not able to get a workout in. Yes, I get mini workouts like sit ups, push ups, walking at the mall in, but nothing substantial. I'm the type who need to be at a health club doing machines and 45 mins. of cardio to feel like I'm doing anything positive!

    in addition to the thoirst from ketosis we also lose fluids from the diuretic effect of 30% proteins and from many of thre induction foods being natural diuretics.

    Give it time you will have all your strength back and be feeking your old Atkins self soom
