  • FitDay failed me: Mache's exact nutritional values ?

I couldn't find Mache (tried also names lamb's lettuce and corn salad) on FitDay and Google gives me either nothing or sites written in German or French. Does anyone here know a site that would tell about Mache and its nutritional content in plain English (or Finnish or Swedish)?

I'm away from home and cannot rely on my own little library and my host sneaks huuuuuge portions of Mache in every dish!!! So is it 1,2,3,4+ or how many carbs per cup or per 100 grams? :help

    Thanks in advance!

Network Solutions - Original domain name registration and reservation services with variety of internet-related business offerings. Quick, dependable and reliable.

You have to sorta figure it out for yourself though. According to the US nutritional info link the serving size is "one bag"---but they don't tell you what that bag weighs. However, if you look at that main page, it says that 3 ounces has 20 calories. So that "bag" is alittle more than 3 ounces. My advice is to weigh your serving and figure out the carbs based on the weight. Make note too of the cup size, then enter that as a customized food in your fitday.

Ok, thanks bunches! That site gave me all the info I need! If 85 grams of mache contains 3g carbs and 22 calories then I can eat plenty more without worrying!

I knew mache is on the induction friendly foods -list, but still ... phew!

Mache is still limited to 2-3 cups during Induction, no matter what the carb count is.

When you decide to extend your Induction phase experience beyond the initial 14 days, you still have to play by the Rules of Induction and eat off the Induction Food list. If you want to eat 5 net carbs worth of foods, move onto OWL.
