  • Edible Flowers?

    I found some in Wegmans, never had em before. Was interested in trying them, I kinda figured they were odd, I know they arent on the induction list....hmmmmmmmmm any thoughts?

    I found the nutrition info.....

    what kind of flowers are they, seems really weird to me that they got literally nothing in them, I would think they at least have some carbs, at least from fibers......dunno

      It is a mixture, depends on the season, some have carnations, marigolds....the other slip my mind. But it depends.

        Well we all know they have something in them. I mean at the very very least they would have fiber.

            Don't trust those numbers....Flowers have carbs in them, just like leaves and stems....

                I found details for pumpkin flowers - both cooked and raw here


                And here is a site encouraging people to eat tthem

                Maybe if you email them they will have some useful info
