  • "pick me up"

    Hello everyone!

I have currently lost 27 pounds!!! It's been about 2 and a half months now. I thought I'd keep losing fast...and then I stalled for about 3 weeks and now I've lost another 2 pounds. I've been using the bike religiously everyday for half an hour and I think I might be gaining some muscle?? Clothes are still getting looser and I can fit into a 16 in most stores now which makes me feel "normal"!! Did the tape measure thing a couple of weeks ago so I'll keep checking that.
What I wanted to say was that I'm doing this diet and exercise thing....really just focusing and concentrating all the time....and then BOOM!!!...somebody you haven't seen for a week or two says they can really tell you've lost weight!!! I have to say that that is the best little "pick me up" in the whole world. I mean you're doing this all on your own and most people see you everyday, so they don't always notice. Talk about the biggest smile on my face ever! It happened today and I'm still glowing 4 hours later. It really helps in the "motiviation" arena!
Just thought I'd share with you guys.
    Love Danielle

Congratulations on your loss. Keep up the good work :joy

I have to say that I completely agree. If someone notices your weight loss and recognises your hard work and commitment, it feels great and leaves your buzzing for some time after. It's the best motivator ever to keep you going and to stay strong.

Thank you for this very uplifting thread!

It is making me smile! See?

Way to go on people noticing and for feeling great! Sometimes those pounds don't come off as they're supposed to, it seems, but the loss in inches?

It's SHAZAM minus the cape, sister!

You must be gaining muscle if you are fitting into smaller clothes! That's great, keep up the good work!
