  • Ooooooo.....I'm really disappointed!!!! {yes, a Vent}

I could chew nails and spit them out!!!

My weight is not moving, I haven't cheated.

I lost my drive to exercise like I once was----2hrs or 1.5hrs a day.

I hate my Elliptical Machine, I hate doing something over and over again.

I don't like exercising outside the house, not my cup of tea.

My tape measure isn't moving, of course the scale is trippin.

    I'm in heavy Ketosis!??

Did I say I'm upset about all of this!!!!

This is the point when people want to give up!!!!!

I cannot give up!!!! I've come toooo far!!!!

But I'm still disappointed about whats Not going on for me with this woe.

Drinking the water, eating right. But the pounds won't leave!!!!

Okay, Okay let me calm down, its not that serious, I've got to stick to it!!! I've got to follow my signature. Alright.

So, I wanna know what's gonna be my new motivation?? At first it was the 6 week challenge, not anymore. I need something new.

Maybe how I will look in the summer, OH MY GOD!!! I DO NOT want to look like this when the heat comes.

Okay, okay that's it. I gotta focus up. I have to read my book WishCraft by Barbra Sher but this time all the way through.

Yes, I will have to focus up.

I'll tell everyone how Wish Craft and my life are going together.

I have nothing to lose but weight, and everything to gain: My Dignity!!!

    Gotta Go!!

Thanks for listening to me ramble on with my thoughts.

OK, Nikki. So how did that work for you?

*LOL* I'm kidding, don't hit me with that shoe.

I have the same problem sometimes. Sometimes you have to decide (like you've done) to refocus on yourself and see what you're doing and examine what you're doing to see if there's something you need to change up.

For now, I think changing your exercise routine would be a good thing. You won't be bored with something new and your muscles will work harder to help you skinnify yourself!

    {{{Nikki}}} Hang in there girl.

I have been going through this same thing. For now I have cut out cheese. Just remember a stall is defined by 4 weeks of no scale or inch losses. Sometimes your body just needs to rest a bit before a big woosh. I am telling you this in the hopes we can both heed my advise. Just relax and let it happen. Keep up the exercise. Change it up, make a new routine. Work the plan and it will work :hug

I could never do any other "diet" . Can you imagine counting all your calories, points, cards or what ever for the day and having no more allowable food and you are hungry? Can you imagine going to bed hungry for the sake of weight loss? What about eating dry chicken on lettuce with vinegar every day?
It just took me 4 months to loose 1 pound, but ate all I wanted, put real cream in my coffee and did not gain a pound. That alone is worth it. Stick with it, find exercise you love, and give it time. :hug

I had 7 weeks of No loss after induction you wanna see stress I was doing everything right exercising didn't cheat it was so hard but, I went forward and I finally broke my stall and lost 15 pounds in 3 weeks so let it happen. I don't get worried about it any more cause I have been there and have seen what happens with patience, persistance and exercise. I totally know how you feel about the exercise some days I don't want to but, then I look past today and know I will feel an accomplishment that I did it even know I didn't want to.

You can get past this and you will it's just a little bump in your road and it'll smooth out and you'll be on your way

              Have you read this yet?

I've recently been cranky because my weight has hardly gone down at all since last November. Sometimes this happens. It's started to move again because I have upped my carbs a little AND extended my exercise.

Yes, I will have to focus up.
Yep..that's really what it all boils down to! As my friend recently said to me "Time to pull up your big-girl panties and get to business!" lol

How much are you eating? How big are your portions? Are you getting enough calories to support your exercise?

You need to know your BMR and your AMR .. Basal metabolic rate is the MINIMUM calories you need just for your basic bodily functions. Active metabolic rate are the ADDITIONAL calories you need to support your exercise routine. You simply MUST eat between those two numbers to lose weight. If you eat too few calories, your body WILL NOT give up the pounds. If you eat too much, well, the answer is obvious.

Go to www.countcarbs.com and use their links to figure out your caloric needs. Then use fitday.com religiously to make sure you are eating enough.

65% fat, 30% protein, 5% carbs per day. EVERYDAY.
