flax meal usually refers to ground flaxseeds and I think this the same as ground linseed

I have only seen the powdered form, but I hear there may be tablets?

Most of us use flaxseed meal or even pysllium husks to help us keep "regular".

the powdered form, you can just add it to a bit of water and drink (bit gluggy in taste) or better still add to your food.

Flax meal is ground flax seeds or linseeds. It can be found in health food stores or some larger supermarkets. You can make crisps, rolls, muffins or used as a filler. Some eat it warm like oatmeal, mixed with water or cream. You should begin buy using 2tea a day. If you go to the recipe section and just put flax you will get a lot of ideas.

Flax meal is the ground up flax seed. I use it boost my fiber intake (like in mock danishes) and use it to make flax buns/bread. It tastes close to whole grain wheat. I buy mine at a grocery store in seed form, and I grind it with a coffee grinder. Here's the recipe for easy microwave flax bread:
            Flax Bread
            3 min.or less..
            2 tbls ground flax..
            1/2 tsp of baking powder..
            1 eggs..
            one pat butter..

soften butter..mix all ingredients..pour batter into small square plastic container...check after 2 minutes..make two-4 slices depending on how long you cook it

Since you are in NY state, I get mine from Wegmans. I dont know where you are, so I dont know if you have them by you. I buy the whole seed. I like to grind my own. It tastes better to me, and stays fresher longer in the freezer.
