  • HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPP.....

    i went out for my walk..my legs got all crampy. i wasnt tired ,but my legs had a real time of getting with the program!


    anyone? ha

    make sure you give your legs a chance to warm up first. start out walking at a moderately brisk pace for like 10 minutes before you pick it up to a fast walk.

      Stretching will help....little things like putting half of your foot on a step and relavating up wards will help stretch your calves out.

            Hi!

            I had the same thing happen to me. A friend at work who has done Atkins for a long time said is probably a potassuim issue.
            I am not 100% certain----just an idea. :geek

              I agree. Potassium is a definite must on this WOE. Make sure you're getting enough. I was getting leg cramps at night due to lack of potassium. Way to go on walking!

                What kind of atkin friendly things can we consume in order to get potassium?

                  Potassium comes in vitamin/pill form. I buy mine at Wal-Mart.

                    I also use a supplement and here's a list of potassium rich foods. Not all are Induction Legal of course, but it'll give you an idea of what's out there.
