Same here, but I do like it a lot and drink the decaf, probably two cups per day.

BTW you can 'decaffeinate' your tea by pouring hot water on the teabag then throwing away the water after 30 seconds (I think) then pouring more water on the teabag.
Apparently most of the caffeine comes out in the first 30 seconds.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

I drink at least 2 cups of Decaf Green Tea per day, sometimes 4 cups. I swear by it for weight loss, but only as far as receiving the blessed "Whooshies", you know, making that scale budge when it's been stubborn for a few mornings, or when you're toying with the same 2# up/2# down issue for awhile.

It's not a miracle drink to solve all of your weight loss problems, but Green Tea, at least for me, makes things happen.

A friend of mine, who is not what I would call over weight, has been drinking green tea together with reducing potatoes & bread for 4 weeks. He has lost 15lb; it can’t be the reduction in carbs because he is eating loads of veggies and salads together with dressings and red meat. He thinks it gets rid of the toxins and fat in his body.

What about Arizona's Diet Green Tea with Splenda... is that bad or good?

Are we saying then that green tea is defiantly a benefit when on the Atkins or generally a benefit whatever our state of health. Is there any proof of its properties?

i would bet green that green tea would never be "defiant"..unless you meant definitely?

come on people.......learn to use search engines...don't expect everyone else to do the work!!

no offense to anyone in particular..yes, gt is excellent and although it's benefits are still being studied.....it can't hurt.

I buy the green tea pills since i forgot to drink tea. I have never had coffee so it isnt like i run for it in the mornign and have now replaced it with tea. I think a box of 20 pills or so is about 5 bucks.

                            I'm hooked

I'm hooked, i been drinking Green Tea for about two weeks and just in the last week i lost an extra 3 pounds and i was stuck lately. Maybe it had nothing to do with it or maybe because i changed my workout at the gym, i dont know but it is something better than drinking coffee.

There is nothing wrong with drinking green tea with caffeine right?

Dr A said to avoid caffiene. Caffiene can cause blood sugar fluctuations that can cause cravings.
