  • Oregano oil - in the UK

    Hello All :wave

Has anyone been able to find and purchase oregano oil in the UK?
I have looked everywhere, Holland & Barret, Waitrose, Tescos etc...

If anyone has any ideas I would be really grateful if they could advise me.

    Many thanks

    Hello Sally :wave
Here is a results page from google for "oregano oil" UK
Search the world's information, including webpages, images, videos and more. Google has many special features to help you find exactly what you're looking for.

There seem to be plenty of mail order companies offering it, and I presume most health food shops would be able to get it for you if they dont have it on their shelves.

BTW - from your stats you have 2 pounds to go to get to goal weight - you aren't still on induction are you?

I ask because it appears to me that successful goalies who have maintained their weight for years after starting Atkins are those who followed Dr Atkins 4 phases by learning how their bodies cope with the different food groups, whereas most who post they are doing Atkins again after having reached their goal on previous attempts only did induction then went back to 'normal eating' and put the weight back on. :sadblinky

If I have misinterpreted your stats or you ARE moving up the Atkins stages according to the book I apologise for misjudging the situation. :hug
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

      Hi Elizellen

Thanks for thanks for your response in regards to the oil, I shall
order via the web for this.

In regards to the current phase, I have just moved to ongoing
weight loss. It would be very easy for me to stay on Induction as
I find it a 'comfort zone' that I am familuar with. I shall see how it
goes and hopefully follow the 4 phases...

      Many thanks for your advise,

      Sally :hug

Sally, why buy? Why don't you make your own?

Purchase extremely fresh oregano (you can do this for any other herbs), make sure these are patted dry and using virgin, or extra virgin olive oil, place in bottle filled to brim, and leave oregano there for a few weeks. The oils is a natural preservative and you will have very flavoursome oregano oil after a few weeks! (Or less if you are impatient

I do believe what she is looking for is oil distilled from oregano.
