  • advice on what to eat?

I got this Beach Volleyball league starting next week for me on Tuesday nights and i have a small dilemma.

I work from 10am to 6:30pm and my games will start at 8:30pm so i will not be going home to have dinner so i guess i have to eat before leaving work or once arrive at the beach? I don't think i should have dinner at 11pm at night which is when i expect to get back home.

any suggestions on what i could eat that is portable but also not to heavy since i will be moving around a lot?

on other days normally i got home and go to the gym first and eat dinner around 8:30-9pm.

celery (snack veggies), pepperonis? Maybe you can pack something and keep it in the fridge at work and just eat before you leave to go to your game.

I make turkey roll ups...turkey slices...cream cheese and pickles rolled up and chilled in the fridge. I carry it in a tupperware container...very portable and easy to eat on the go. Also individually wrapped cheese slices or hardboiled eggs are easy to grab and go(just don't crack the egg around company...really smells)

I still havent decided what to take, i'm so lost.

yeah some turkey roll ups, no cheese i get sick with cheese so i dont eat any dairy products.

Honestly all i have is lots of salad at home and frozen chicken, which is what i eat for lunch. I don't have much after that oh maybe some tuna.

No money no food shopping here.

I'll make some tuna salad that's what i'll do.

do you think you see it as a problem if i get home and i'm still hungry by 11pm? I can i eat that late?

          Hi Jnetty99 :wave
If you are hungry then eat :hug
Particularly if you know you haven't had time or the opportunity to eat three meals or your snacks during the day.
Try not to exceed the 6 hours without eating though to keep your insulin level.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
