    :help
The end of May I have taken on a job to take care of an elderly lady 24 hours (all day all night) for 4 days in a row. I have never met this woman and I dont know what her living/eating situation is.

My problem is ... how do I follow this WOE in this situation? I wont have a chance to come home so I cant use a cooler full of my foods.

I am at a loss on what to do here.

how about storing some food at her house. If she's reasonable she shouldn't object to your program.....i would think.

just make sure there's an authentic pizza joint close by.KIDDING lmao.

you have to be flexible and assertive with people in order to make this work sometimes........stand behind your goals. :nod

      Cheryl,

Stock up on the foods you normally would and take them with you.

Eggs, mayo, butter, veggies, cheese (limited amounts), meats, tuna, chicken, fish.. I assume you will be cooking for this lady, so just cook for yourself too!! Its only 4 days .. plan ahead and you'll be fine!

STAY ON COURSE. YOU CAN DO IT!

        Cheryl,

I totally agree with what the others have said. Also, keep in mind that there are a lot of foods you can take with you that don't require refrigeration. I have a lot of meetings out of town/in other offices, and in the morning I put some veggies, sauteed chicken, etc, in baggies and stick them in my purse! This certainly wouldn't work for meals, per se, but it works pretty well for snacks.

Also, since this is your job, you'd be allowed to bring your meals to work the same way everyone else is, right? The secret is just to be prepared, so you're not faced with high-carb things when you're starving.

        Hope that helps!
