  • My decision to move on!

    I have finally made the decision to move on to OWL. After much consideration, and a slowing of weight loss. I've also decided in part because I want to find my CCLL. I'm also interested to see how my body will react to adding more carbs. I have 34lbs to lose to reach 200lbs, which is my first goal---I have 49lbs to lose to reach my next goal of 185, and my final goal is 165lbs. I will stop in and post from time to time, but for now farewell :wave

      What is OWL? Are you quitting the Atkins diet?

        Good for you girl! I too have considered moving to Ongoing weight loss (OWL) I am not sure I am ready yet but I am sure I will see you there soon enough. You have done so well!! :hug

          iyshi you will be missed. Make sure you dont forget about us! I plan on moving in another 20lbs or so. Let us know how it's going.

              Good choice iyshaif :hug to give yourself time to expand yourfood choices and find your CCLL :yes

              It is the main phase of Atkins really where you start to add other foods in a set order to find out how many carbs you can eat and still lose weight (your CCLL = Critical carbs level for losing)
              One of the mods posted that she was eating 100 carbs and still losing weight :yikes

              The forum for OWL is below this one on the index page and has several useful explanatory stickies that you might find worth reading before you start to prepare you for it.

              There is also a sticky on the 14-day induction forum to help you decide when to move on to OWL
