Hello I've been on Atkins 2 and half weeks and plan to stay on induction till I lose 30 LBS.I've lost 8 punds. I've stalled already!!I haven't cheated(except on low carb ice cream a few days ago). I thought that was the reason for the stall so I picked up ketone sticks and It was dark pink!I've heard to go on a carb binge but I soooo dont want to cheat, I feel I'd wreck all the progress I've made! If I'm still in Ketosis can it still be something I'm eating??I know I should be taking my measurements(daughter keepe stealing and hiding the tape measure, shes 2)but I've been stalled for 4 days, it should be doing something??How did everyone get through it?

Hi there. Many people experience a slow down in weight loss around their third week. If you're eating off the acceptable food lists as per the rules of induction, drinking all your water and exercising you really don't have to worry. Trust me! A true stall as defined by Dr. Atkins is four weeks without a weight loss OR inch loss. There is a great stickie called 'weight loss is not linear'. Give that a read if you haven't already. Otherwise, hang in there. Your patience will pay off.
