  • Doesnt it feel good....

When you can go out and spend NINE HOURS shopping for new clothes.. Holy crap, I was in heaven at the GAP, I can finally fit in their clothes again. Not to mention my feet have shrunk and I bought three new pairs of shoes, and to top it all off my husband told me to go out and get whatever I wanted because he was so proud of me!

If this is the way its gonna be ima keep on losing, and keep shopping till I drop!!! Or till im broke... LOL

    This WOE kicks total butt!!!

I'm with you G-Mom. Went shopping 5 weeks ago, for some capris, and bought 2 pairs. I am now wearing them, rolled up at the waist, looking very baggy, and lose. No more shopping for me for awhile!! My dressmaker told me to hold off bringing her my clothes for alterations for a couple of months too. Guess I'll be looking a bit sloppy for a bit :yes

I LOVE buying new, smaller clothes. In fact, when I started Atkins, I had already lost a dress size over a span of a couple of months, not by doing anything in particular... so I had bought some new jeans and shirts.... so when I started this WOE, I said there is no way I'm going back, so I bagged up every stitch of my size 20+ clothing, loaded it in my van and took it to Goodwill.

I went and bought more clothes, but kept the tags on them, and if I didn't wear them before I lost more weight, I'd take them back. I have taken back more clothes to Walmart and Lane Bryant in the last few months than you would believe! :yikes

I also look for big markdown items and if it's something I really like, has a good low price, and is in a smaller size than I wear now, I'll buy it and hang it in my closet. I then try it on periodically and then one day, it fits! :yes

I bought this sleeveless, cotton, black button up blouse a few week ago and I couldn't get it buttoned then. Well I tried it on this morning and it fits! And DAMN it fits good and looks good! :icondance hehehe

Give your hubby some extra smooches for being so encouraging! :yes

wont be buying any clothes till ive reached goal

first thing im going for ..... is all the brand names i was never able to wear due to their lack of fitting around my large stomach

all my clothes are fitting me even baggier than normal , itll be fun to put some of these clothes on when im down another 35lbs , theyll probably drown me rather than me just swimming in them

Oh yea, the baggy clothes really do make one look bigger and usually frumpier (sorry). I have a few tshirts that I was wearing when I work out, and my trainer commented that they were hanging on me now and that I should get some workout clothes that showed off my progress.

Well Walmart has an outstanding collection of workout clothes right now, I guess because they are popular even for those not working out. So I bought some smaller, shaplier clothes to workout in and I was shocked at how much of a difference in made in my appearance, and in my view of myself. :nod

I would definitely recommend treating yourself to something new in smaller sizes as you shrink, even if it's just a new, inexpensive top. :joy

I totally agree on that... Even if its one piece of clothing, you will feel absolutely marvelous in it, whatever it may be!! When you wear clothes that fit, you see the new you and how much your really changing, when other times you wont even notice.

Its such motivation to keep on going
