  • Almost there!!!

    Hello all!! I'm STUCK on a long plateau....over two months now! There are times that I lose 3-5 pounds, but I always seem to put it on again somehow.....I'm increasing my water, and started a new exercise routine. I'm really happy that I was able to lose weight and keep it off, I guess I'm just frustrated that the weight isn't coming off as easily as in the beginning. Any other tips on what I should do to bust out of this rut??




    Height 5'-0" Started Induction May 1st 2005...currently on Extended Induction and loving it!!!

    Heyya great job so far....

    I find that most long stalls such as your is because a food crept back in thats causing it that your not thinking of. Try dropping back to a strict induction for a week and see if that jumpstarts ya. You'll probably see the weight loss start after a few days. Let me know how ya make out.

      Thankyou! I'll give the strict induction a try. I'm just finding it "hard" to since I've grown accustomed to eating low carb bread, berries, and all those special ladder specific foods!!! I guess when I go back onto it, the cravings for it will be less when the weight comes off again.....hopefully!! Good advice. I'll give it a go! Your before and after pictures look amazing!! Congrats on your weightloss!!!!

        See I told ya your eating something new thats causing the stall... Let me know after a week of induction how it turns out. Good luck to ya.

          asiangail.....you look fantastic! your pictures look like two different people! if i may ask, how long did it take you to get to 125?

            Thankyou!! I started atkins in Aug. 2003 and started at 145 pounds. I have lost 20 pounds since then and have NEVER been hungry!! I used to weigh 175 and got down to 145 on terrible diets that stopped working and made me miserable, irritible, and left me starving. I found that Atkins gave me a great boost to weight loss, and I've never felt hungry once!! After seeing my results, my bestfriend who was a huge skeptic, started Atkins as well, and has lost 60 POUNDS since she started back in October. Her goal is to lose 125 pounds, and she's well on her way! All the best to you on your weightloss and happy low-carbing!!

                I agree you are looking fantastic. Also listening to Tommy is good because he is rihgt on with his advice, and like him,please let us know how you do.
