No, she didn't. I'm just clarifying what I don't do.

Re: Question about weight gain on maintenance

Truth be told when you are on any kind of weight loss product or diet or whatever you will gain a bit of weight. I think it is a natural thing, but you are right a weight gain of more than about 7 pounds is something to look at.Ive been doing atkins for 2+years now-on maintenace for probably a year. Ive lost 175+ pounds-the + comes from changes in me water weight gain etc. I weight more probably than most of you hear Im in the 160s-because thats where my dr said enough-not that my health was suffering it is so much better but Im older 53 and Ive had alot of problem with excess skin after being over 330 for quite awhile.Everyone has their perfect weight not everyone should be a size 5-even at my weight I wear a size 8-10 so Im happy. Atkins is the way to go for sure especially if you have pcos-I wont ever eat anyother way again. Also I did atkins with my doc-he was a skeptic but I went in for blood tests every 3 months because of the other health probs and my numbers just kept getting better and better.

redrose - Congratulations on reaching and maintaining goal. The amount of weight you've lost is phenomenal. You are quite correct that not everyone should be size 5, and if you and your doctor are happy with 160, then so are we.

The important thing is that your health has improved. We do have PCOS forum, if you'd like to share your experiences there.
