Just out of curiosity, how often do many of you eat fruits? I am trying to get a grasp on how much/how often for me.

For example. in a week's time, I may have two apples, one grapefruit and a handful of grapes. The apples are cut in halves, same for grapefruits. That way, I only have a small portion for lunch.

In the summertime, I was nuts for Strawberries & blueberries & melons. Since the seasons change, I did.

BERRIES BERRIES BERRIES .. I love 'em and you can't find a better nutritional snack!!

I don't do bananas cuz they are a trigger for me (I used to love 'em!) I also eat Georgia peaches (YUMMY!), canteloupe, honeydew and occasionally fresh pineapple.

I eat fruit all the time but not as just a piece of friut. the key is to find what works for you as we are each different genetically so our chemical make up while similar is different. watermelon is a trigger for me.

            Re: Fruits

I stick mostly with berries, but throw in peaches or grapes or melons occasionally. I love fresh fruit, but I hate going to get it, so that naturally limits me

Since I'm not terribly good at making things with more than two ingredients and fruit by itself tends to trigger cravings, I put whipped cream (and sometimes nuts) on it.

Oh! Forgot about pears. Those I do eat by themselves and they don't seem to cause cravings.

I eat grapes and 1 medium size apple every lunch and dinner every day.

I get rashes on my face and nausea when I eat watermelon, oranges and banana.

                      Re: Fruits

Watermelon is out for me it makes me eat everything. I don't eat much fruit right now, strawberries are well tolerated by me and Ok for me without anything else.

Canalope had been so far so good I eat small portions and with cottage cheese or cheese.

A quarter or half an apple on a salad a few times is the only time I've tried apple and it seemed Ok although once I seemed to get sleepy.

I am afraid to try bananas becuae I loved peanut butter and bannana sandwhiches and eaven thinking about it makes me feel munchy, I really have to watch peanut butter, It really can olny be a backup, emergency type food for me I can not seem to include it in normal eating without getting the munchies
