    we just like calling people by nicknames is all how long was I "Nursey" ????

    I fluctuate about 4lbs up and down but if I eat sugar even one overdose that can go as high as 6lbs over night!!! I hate that!!!! and it seems like one day of overindulgence can lead to days of recovery ..and that is just not fair!!!

    I wish this was easy ..every single day I fight with complacency thinking I can handle it..and I can't...

    summer is coming ..and we have amazing microbrew here...I have to avoid it completely or there is an easy 10 lbs I will tell you that...

    I say this as much for anyone as I do for myself ..there is a wonderful world of food out there ...and it is important I eat that and not crap...move my body and drink lots of water..that keeps me level ..well wt wise...now my mental status is another thing entirely!!!

      I usually fight with about five pounds, but I'm trying to keep at the exercising and weight training and focus on the clothing fit rather than the scales (which are evil).

        I maintain, but no, it isn't easy. Have to be on permanent guard. Fluctuate wildly too...sometimes five pounds in a day... but am going through the menopause which doesn't help matters.
        Right now I weigh every day and keep an eye on the 'two month' and 'four month' graphs. When those seem to be going in a more upward direction than a downward one (like now...grrrrrr), I intervene and cut carbs back. My biggest fault though is cheeses and fats, but here in Italy, with the wonderful olive oil... which incidentally we produce... I think that tends to be the norm. Italians here do have a higher fat diet than people in other countries.

        Also try to keep moving. Sooooo important!

        So far so good and have maintained since August...but, like I said, am ever watchful.

          Hello folks!

          I give myself five lbs gain/loss and if I tend to get to close to the 5lbs mark, I scale back.

          This winter my workouts weren't at intense as they should be and I was wearing a size 4/6 instead of a 2/4, but the weight never changed. Just keep working out and stay focused.

          I have been at goal for a year and half! But there are days when I do go for Chinese or have a few potato chips but I don't beat myself up for it. I just cut back for a few days in the meals and intensify my workouts.

          Everything is a balance!
