  • Safe vegetables.

    Just a quick one. (i've done a search and can't find the info). Which are the most commonly acknoledged Atkins friendly vegetables?

    Any info would be appreciated.

    There's the list of induction safe veggies in the stickies, and then there's a handy list in OWL forum, but beyond that, it's all about checking the carb count and seeing what works on an individual basis. The ow list isn't an all inclusive list, just a guide.

      actually Dr Atkins did just what you are asking for in his Atkins For Life Book (AFL). He used a process called the Atkins Glycemic Ranking orAGR Ellewth's OWL stickie lists are the AGR eat oftehn OWL veggies from AFL

          Since you're posting this in the Maintenance Forum and not the weight loss phase forums, any vegetable that your body can handle is "Atkins safe" for you. Afterall, you went through OWL and Pre-Maintenance Phases, so you know how different foods and the amounts of those foods affected you then and you just need to apply it to your Maintenance phase.
