  • DANDR question

I lent my DANDR out to a friend a few months ago and it was stolen out of her car. I didn't need to replace it til now as my mom is at maintenance and has no idea what foods she can now add back. I ordered a 2002 edition from ebay but it hasn't got here yet. I am trying to remember, did DANDR 2002 have a section of acceptable foods she can add back now that she is in maintenance? I thought it did.

Fruits, whole grain breads, starchier veges, legumes & beans, nuts and seeds.

Basically all the OWL food rungs, but in moderation and up to her CCLM. Exercise also plays a part in this, so if she is really active she will get away with more of the higher carb foods.

Yup, check out the carb ladder in FAQs. Maintenance is just the level of OWL/Pre-Maintenance where you don't lose weight.

yep all you do is eat one carb more then your CCLL and poof it stops. You can eat any of the foods on the carb rungs that you know don't cause you a problem or if you are brave you can eat some of those you knew did and see if your body handles them better now.

        EDIT
