Your menu looks pretty low fat, just skimming. Perhaps you want to increase your (good) fats a bit. Swap your skim milk for whole milk, have some whipped cream with your berries, use butter, switch to fattier meats (or fish).

Your numbers do sound a little low, but it's hard for us to say when you're getting into the danger zone. I'd check out your body fat percentage and have a friend or family member you trust to be completely honest tell you if you look too thin. ie. if they can see your ribs *above* your breasts, you've gone too far.

But, some people are thinner than others. Our ideal body shape isn't the same as the next guy's, so it's possible that you're eating appropriately and are just meant to be waiflike.

Also, I'm assuming you've visited the doctor and ruled out health problems?

Then I guess that I've gone too far. I'm really not trying to lose any more. Was happy at my goal weight but have lost another 4 pounds since Christmas. I've been upping my daily carbs and calories a little every day. I really thought I was doing OWL and pre-maintenance "right" but never really found my maintenance numbers since I still kept losing.

I'm up to between 60 and 80 net carbs and 1800 to 2200 calories a day.

Never thought I'd have the problem of not eating enough. LOL

Your natural metabolism and the amount of exercise you get will determine your caloric/carb needs. Some people are fortunate to have higher numbers...

I hate to tell anyone to cut back on exercising, so you'll need to up your intake to make up for the difference. The body needs some fat to function properly.

I really don't think it's critical to immediately fix it, but you do want to at least stop losing short term.

BTW, congrats on your losses, all of you! :joy

Since you posted one of these topics back before Christmas too I disagree with bikerabout the need to stop immediately.

where are your higher rung carbs? that is how we put the brakes on adding back the grains and starchy veggies, I didn't see any legumes in there either.

You know you are eating below your CCLM or ACE so up those carbs!!!!!! exercise increases your CCLM even more so add them back !
Banana and coffe for breakfast get real girl you know you ate motre then that when you were in the weight loss phase of Atkins. How about some whole grain muffins made with some dried fruits and nuts with some butter to go with your banana? don't tell me you are too full as that will occupy the same space as a cup of coffee inyour stomach and you have 2. or add a bowkl of Oatmeal with some dried fruits

Lunch? how about some whole grain bread for your sandwhich? how about some starchy veggie too like winter squach cubes, bean or carrot salad. Swap out the soy chips for a higher carb food.

Toss some beans in the salad too like kidney or chickpea
Snanks how about some nuts in that yogurt?
There are lots of ways to do it.

Read your DANDR chapters on premaintenance and maintenance and get moving.

IMHO the banana and coffee alone in the a.m. are setting you up for insulin spikes. You need to add a protein to your breakfast.

Sounds a lot like you've switched from Atkins to low cal/low fat/low carb

You can't have it all, and you can't combine plans like that.

Follow the previous suggestions and check back in a week or so to see how things are going.

I agree with 2big ... BEANS will help and they are a great source of fiber which is also a good thing.

And I agree with Fawn ... avoid the banana unless you have protein with it...

Never never never stop exercising. Everyone needs to do it; even skinny people!!

You mean I have to exercise!!! :yikes

I love to get down to my running weight again as I loved running and ran alot of races one year including a half marathon. I loved getting the Runner's High but did not happen often.

I agree you need some more protein or berries and nuts. Johnny :nod

I think if you continue dropping weight you need to see a doctor but that is just mho.....
I am still loosing and I know why ...if you do not know why then go get checked....blood work can determine if you are getting what you need and three days a week of exercise is not that much ....

Really? I've seen my ribs above my breasts and I think I look good. Well, different strokes for different folks. I am a very small petite person so I don't want to weigh any more than I do right now.

I eat well; I don't lack for anything. I have tons of energy; run 35 miles a week and feel great.

                          What's the problem?

I had the same thing happen to me after the birth of my daughter 15 years ago next month (when Dr. Atkins was not as widely known and acceptea). I had gained 65 pounds during pregnancy...although I lost 28 from birth until two weeks later because I was a walking water balloon...I still had a good bit of weight to lose.

I got down to my goal weight of 135 pounds and could not stop losing. I was really getting worried that I had started something I could not stop. I got down to 126 before it started going back up again and then leveled off between 130 and 135. It did take several months and I did up my calorie intake a little.

The problem is you're eating far too little. Period. You're my height, that's 2,200, your excersise plan equals 450, that's 2,650 kilocalories a day.
That's about 1,600 estimate in kilocalories you give yourself a day. That means per day you're losing about 1,050. You're only eating about half of what you need to keep matinance. It's not difficult to understand why you keep losing.

It is difficult to manuever this, you never want to eat too much but then sometimes you eat too little. I think you could afford to let yourself go. You probably are just too hard on yourself on how much you eat, you can afford to gain a little weight now so loosen your peverbal control belt. If you start to notice you don't like how much you weigh, enforce the rules again. It's that simple.
