    Re: losing too much....can't stop!

    Hey guys.

I have just began my diet journey and I would really like if you could explain me how can I calculate my normal amount of kilocalories/day.

      Re: losing too much....can't stop!

Forgive me for my second post but it would be helpful to know the procedure of calculating how much calories has my daily food intake.
      Thank you so much.

        Hi, Fatfree -

Welcome to ADBB. www.fitday.com is a great resource for tracking your calories, but you probably don't need to be too concerned about that at first. A lot of people don't track the calories they eat and burn unless they're having a problem.

Please feel free to start a new thread for new topics as needed.

Thanks for your quick answer Linda. It feels really nice to be here. Fitday is a good startup but why do I have to complete all those forms just to keep track of my food intake. Isn't any simpler way to do that ? Thanks.

There are plenty of books that will show calorie content of foods -including some cookbooks -and you can probably find some pretty good lists online.

Fitday might take a little time to set up and learn, but it's the simplest I've found in the long run.

              Re: losing too much....can't stop!

I had the problem years ago before I had my daughter. I went from a size 16 to a size 0. My BF at the time was a weight lifter and he even said I was too skinny. Lands up I had hashimotos thyroiditis. It started out as an overactive thyroid then went to underactive. Now it is real hard to take off weight and keep it off. I gained 15 pounds of my weight loss back, and I have lost four of it last week. This is a new week, lets hope I keep taking it off...................Best wishes everyone Dawn
