  • Dumb question ......

I'm 12 weeks into Atkins ... have lost 20 lbs.. but according to the ketostix .. I'm no longer ketotic. Is this normal? I have had two days off the diet recently .. but didn't go bonkers ..if it IS the case should I go back to Induction to restart the process?
My "thin" clothes fit me really well now .. andI'd still like to lose more.
Does it mean that because I took my eye off the ball I have to restart?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Yes it is possible, if you go off atkins it will take your body 2-5 days to get back into ketosis...

No you shouldnt re-induct, you should go back to where you were on the plan... Have you travelled up through OWL? your close to goal so you should be adding things back into your diet VIA the OWL rules so you can learn what food your body does and doesnt like.

Emma's correct, you've been doing this long enough that you don't need to return to induction levels. A few days 100% on track will surely get you back into ketosis. Also, you can not be in ketosis at all and continue to lose weight. So remember to only use the stix as an indicator!
