Hi guys,
I'm done trying to loose weight, now i'm just maintaining my weight. I didn't exactly climb the rungs of the OWL ladder, more hopped around and such. Either way, I made it!
I just had a question, how important is it that I have a lot of vegetables? I know fiber is very important which I get from eating flax muffins, whole wheat pita pockets, berries etc.
I'm not big on eating vegetables so I only have about a 1/2 cup of lettuce in my pita pockets and about a cup of some vegetable at dinner (usually broccoli or string beans). So my daily vegetable intake is around 1 1/2 cups.
I know you're supposed to have about 3 but I find it too diffacult to fit it in with my meals.
Is it okay that I only have about half the recommened amount?
I've been adding about five carbs a week of grains and will continue to do so until I see that i'm gaining weight instead of staying at the same weight.
I'm up to about 40 carbs a day now.
I feel great, my digestion issues completely have sorted themselves out, i'm never bloated like I used to get when I ate according to induction and i'm so confident and happy with my new body!
Now all thats left on my perfect body 'to do' list is to start going to the gym regularly to tone and build muscle. I understand I will gain weight during this because muscle weighs more then fat (health class...) however i'm not worried about that. I'm very out of shape and my number one goal is to look great and FEEL great so working out is the best thing i can do!
Thanks for listening!
