  • Artificial Sweeteners?

    Hi,
I was just wondering, i'm not trying to lose anymore weight or anything so I don't worry about the feared stalls from Splenda and other sweeteners, my problem is I just worry if having too much of it is bad for me. I have it in my tea, in my muffins or pancakes, in my water etc.
It seems like it's a lot of it for one day and it doesn't affect me weight wise, I mean, I stay the same weight (no loss, no gain) but is it bad for me health wise?

If anyone knows anything about this, i'de love some input.
    Thanks!
    Emily.

Actually, the three-a-day rule applies throughout the entire Atkins programme, including maintenance, as far as I'm aware. At that small amount I wouldn't think it would be harmful.

Some people have trouble with too much Splenda (headaches) etc. There's also Stevia which is a natural sweetner which you could try. That's been used in oriental countries for thousands of years.
