  • Low Carb Recipes on BiPro Whey Protein Atkins Page

    The BiPro Whey Protein web site: http://www.biprousa.com/atkinsdiet.asp
    has just posted 3 new "Low Carb" recipes that are Atkins Phase 1 friendly. There are also links to the standard Atkins resouces. Perhaps there is something that may be of benefit to you!

    I have tried making all three of the them and only wish that the smoothie recipe contained real fruit but then it wouldn't be low carb . Otherwise, the rest are great.

    The trouble with adding protein isolate to recipes that are perfectly Atkins-legal and tasty without it - like those recipes you linked to - is that you might be upping your protein intake too much.
    Remember Dr Atkins warned us against eating too much protein in DANDR.
    Atkins is not a high protein way of eating but a highfat/medium protein/low carb one.

      I agree, Elizellen... it's odd how many people think Atkins is a high protein plan...
