  • I can't seem to stop

    recording my info into fitday.

I know this summer I will have to stop it once I get to Basic Training, but I thought I could stop, perhaps after today, being the end of the month - but my obsessive nature kicked in, and I'm not sure.

I write it down, and record it in fitday. Possibly there are times when I'm not entirely accurate, but, for the most part, I record just about everything I eat (not necessarily all the water, or herbal tea or decaf, but the food items). So, I'm pretty sure that recently things have not been as accurate as they should be, but why can't I just trust myself, after all this time.

I've been recording since Dec 23, 2003, and only missed a few days in the summer when we were crossing the country, and I just couldn't put in one more custom ingredient, or all the particular items in a salad.

Good for you, I wish I had that much will power. This board and fitday can become additive. LOL

I'm exactly the same..my hubby gets so annoyed at me as I always seem to be on the laptop because of it LOL. I put my food in usually right after..and even sometimes before..I eat it!. I can sympathize...

I have a blackberry handheld i was hoping they would have fitday s/w for..but no luck yet! LOL then i could be entering my foods while in my car sitting at red lights? walking down the street? at restaurants? LOL..ok probably best that they don't...

I can't stop either! I'm totally hooked on making sure all my ratios are right and my carbs are ok, and my calories are below a certain point...ugh!

Re: I can't seem to stop

wow you guys I had no problem stopping ..that was one of the most annoying programs to me ...

I guess if you are "into" numbers and percentages ...

              I found it cumbersome

when I feel out of sorts with my eating I will weigh myself and see where I am ..then if I need to I keep track for a few days buy just journaling..can you do that instead in bootcamp CM? journal your days on paper? I mean if you really can not stop using fitday ...that is an issue like anything when you can not control it ..that is a problem.....but if you want the support of documentation then just write it down the old fashioned way
