What is "modified" OWL?

I think it is when you go through the rungs of OWL without doing the constant 5g carb increase. I've seen Atkineers stay at 20-25g carbs and go through the rungs which means they are still losing the weight a bit more quickly (than a standard OWLer) but doing the OWL rungs.30yo F 5'5 (166cm)

Modified OWL is when you keep your carbs at the Induction level (20 maximum) while going up the OWL carb ladder.
You'll need to swap 5 net carbs of your Induction menu for your OWL food, though. It works for some folks. But for others, they hit a long plateau and they don't break out of it until they begin adding carbs.
That's why I think unless you have a high metabolic resistance to weight loss, it's best to find your CCLL and eat around that carb level.
