    Do anyone use this instead of Fitday, or does anyone use both and is it the same as the carb counter on the Atkins website??? urplequ:

    It's the same carb counter as the website (so save your money and download it from the website if you want to use it.)

    I tend to use a number of carb counters, the USDA website, calorieking.com, Netzer's book, Carpender's book, etc. I do this because some foods aren't listed on all the carb counter sources.

    All the carb counters will have slightly different counts due to how the food was measured. For example, the Atkins carb counter measures veggies "loosely packed". Most of the other carb counters get their info from the USDA or from the manufacturer's packages.

    But no matter what book you use, if you are using pre-packaged foods, be sure to double check the carb counter against the package. I've found at least 2 mistakes in Carpender's carb counter.
