  • Stall/Stopping Point

    Hello guys,
with encouragement from ya'll and tips and advice i moved safely into OWL last week. This week will be week2 on Veggie rung. Trying out a couple of things.
Well this is my "second" time round and ive noticed that i seem to stall around a particular weight that is 158lbs the minute i reach this weight i usually dont lose for some time. wondering if this has happened to any of you and what advice you have for me.
I dont plan on quitting expecially with the new veggies ive added im practically enjoying myself and im eating so much. I think the 158lbs is the smallest ive ever been since i was 12 from 12 onwards i was ranging 176lbs to 200 lbs.So maybe my body needs extra adjustment time, anyway any advice/ tips would be welcomed.

    HAPPY OWLING!!!

Some people believe in the "set point" theory---your body has a set point in terms of weight and will hang onto that weight. Some people don't.

I don't know whether there is or isn't one.

Maybe consider the other parts of the Atkins wol besides the food part.....is it time to shake up your exercise regime? Maybe something new? Something more challenging?

Ditien, I think I'm tend to have a set point at 138lbs... because years ago when I went up to 150lbs, I managed to get to 138lbs, but I stuck on this weight for ages before it moved along again. Mind you, at the time it was mostly intense exercise and lettuce leaves (not healthy), but 138lbs is the weight I anticipate I'll sit on for a while before I start losing consistently again.
