I have Dr. Atkins New Diet cookbook and I wondering if anyone has tried any of his Desert Recipes???

Which are really good and worth buying the ingredients for??? I'm on Day 3 of my Induction diet and I know some of those recipes I can't have yet.. but I was preparing for after the 14 days is up.

And if anyone has any other desert recipes of their own that are low-carb I'd like their recipes too!

    Thanks!

I tried the Spanish Cream from the book and that was pretty good. You can change the flavor of it too by changing the extract.

But the desserts I make are mainly fresh fruit with cream or cheese. I also make ice cream and sorbets. I have made cheesecakes but I reserve that type of thing for dinner parties, not everyday desserts.

I have tried an almond cake from a website, but that needed tweaking. And I did try the chocolate cake from the atkins.com site, but that needed even more tweaking for it to be edible.

I have made a cream filled jelly roll, using the Atkins Revolution Rolls recipe as the "cake". In fact, I made a yule log last Christmas that way, brought it to the family Christmas dinner and everyone liked it.
