  • My 1st Week on OWL

    Ok, so my first week on OWL is completed. I lost 3 pounds! Yes, 3 pounds! Before OWL, I had quit losing for a while and was feeling discouraged. I was scared of OWL, but now I am excited to experiment. I am moving onto the dairy rung this week. I plan on trying low carb yogurt, sour cream, and the carb countdown milk in rung 2.

    One question on the yogurt. What is a good kind to have? I have looked at some, but they are fruit flavored. I'm thinking I shouldn't have that, because I am not to the fruit rung yet. Any thoughts or guidance on this?

    I'm a little concerned about the milk also. Last time around, I really had a problem with portion control. But I know I can do this...I can control it!

    You have to read the labels and the carb counts to yogurts. I buy plain yogurt because I can flavor it any way I want. Before I was on the berry rung, I flavored the yogurt (and cottage cheese for that matter) with extracts (lemon or orange) or the Davinci syrups.

    you should also look in this forum for the yogurt thread we had few months ago, as it contains alot of information.
