Hello,
I am totally new here, and have read the stickies about the rungs and power of five.
My question is I love to do recipes, to keep a variety to my meals, and also keep HUbby interested in LC, besides having leftovers for the week. I start the 1st rung of OWL on Sunday, and let's say I wanted to make Chicken Divan with broccoli, if I am supposed to use 16 oz of broccoli to recipe, how would I figure that broccoli carb count into my OWL veggies? If I am supposed to be very accurate with my counting, how will I make sure I have let's say 1/2 cup for that serving? Or do I just assume it is 1/2 cup, and leave it as so for my veggie count?
I am hoping you get the jest of what I am saying...or do you think I should just stick with whole foods and no recipes? I just want to make sure I do OWL correctly, as this is my first time doing it at all....I was a big induction to the end type of person.
