  • Hello everybody!

Hi, my name is Andrea and I am starting OWL today (Thursday). I am excited to add a little variety to my menu, but I am nervous about getting any cravings because life has been good without any cravings for a few weeks!

Anyway, I lost 14 pounds on induction somehow - probably because I was eating 3000-4000 calories worth of sugary donuty crap per day before I started.

    Wish me luck!

    Re: Hello everybody!

    Hello and welcome.

Be sure to re-read the chapters on OWL in DANDR 2002 and also read the stickie at the top of the chart.

Most people find OWL to be the BEST part of the Atkins diet because you aren't as restricted as you were in Induction and you still lose weight.

    Enjoy your OWLing.

Hi Andrea - welcome to OWL
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!

Welcome to OWL, Andrea! Take the rungs slowly, and you should have no problems with cravings. OWL is where you start showing off your real control on what food goes in your body. I am sure you will do great.
