  • What's your CCLL?

Just curious, as I start to try and figure mine out.

I'm dropping down 5 grams this week to see if my carb level is the reason why I keep revisiting 155 lbs on the scale. I've experimented with my foods & calories, and neither resulted in any change. I hoping that this is just part of the wonder that is OWL, and not that my body is choosing to 'pause' at this weight for a while. We'll see!

No, not really.... just feels like it. Don't mind me. I'm just being a dumb-butt.

      I don't know. I didn't weigh before I started.

Heh, feels like it here, too, at times.

I haven't found my CCL yet as it seems to be changing all the time (higher!). I think this is because of the amount of exercise I do and my level of fitness is noticeably improving on a weekly basis. Man, I have to weigh and measure myself again, it's been over two months!!

I have no idea what my CCLL is. I'm doing poorly with the whole OWL thing. I've been up and down the same 5 pounds for over a month. I've had so many cheat days that make me gain, then I have a few good days that get me back down, but I'm never consistant enough to stick with anything for more than a few days. Even when I've eaten from the proper rung that I'm on, my carbs are low (around 25), because I'll have 5g worth of berries, but I'm not eating my extra veggies, or extra dairy, so I accidentally end up eating a modified OWL plan. Or, if I do eat around 30-35 carbs (where I should be in the OWL journey), almost all of those additional carbs are from nuts. Gee, and I wonder why I keep falling off the wagon.

You are doing the right thing check the foods check the rungs drop the carbs back and see if you have reached your CCLL and why I call OWL the great experiment pahse of Atkins. You can raise your CCLL by increasing your activity levles too. my CCLL when I was doing the BFL weight lifting plan and the HIIT treadmilling plan was 115 net carbs. When i was just upper body lifting and hopping on my crutches it was 45.
