Hello everyone! New here today. I did 2 weeks induction and 2 weeks extended induction...giving me a total of 15 pounds gone. I started today even though I am not really ready as I have no new vegies in the house. So will try to up my carbs with the ones I do have...which happen to be the ones I mainly eat anyway.
Do I have to stay here and try every veg I might eat in the future?? For instance....we will have squash ready in a couple of weeks but it is not ready now...and I would only be eating it a few times and then probably not til next year...or maybe more since I am quite enjoying the vegies daily. Asparagus is another we have in our garden but do not buy in the store as that costs too much. But do want to try the Jicama.
My goal is to have at least 4 servings of vegies a day during OWL and maintance. 2 salads and 2 other.
Do I have to spend the same amount of time at each rung?
Is there a COMPLETE list anywhere that lists ALL VEGIES and whether they are to be eaten on this rung or the starches rung....?? If I understand correctly...for instance...all squash is not created equal. Having a visual list to refer to would be very helpful. I had never even heard of jicama before.
I am sure that I will have many more questions so please be patient with me. Thanks!
