I live in Rhode island and don't know where to find these test strips. my only way right now of measuring is by my breath. We have walmart, target, cvs, brooks and walgreen stores; or can I order them online off a website.

True be told, you really don't need those strips as long as you can recognize the physical signs of ketosis (See the FAQ section of the board for the FAQ about that).
Some people do find using them reassuring, but they're not really necessary....~Megs~

but most pharmacies have them... I got mine at walmart.... mine are by Bayer...... 50 cost under $10.... I don't use them much.. but sometimes it's a 'motivator'2-15-10 194.8 - highest ever!

I used mine like 3-4 times, and then I realized that as long as I was following the plan as Dr. Atkins wrote, I was in ketosis. I also do not have alot of the standard symptons, but I know I am.
The strips don't always work for everyone either, and how much water you drink too can alter the results.
Really, save yourself the $$$ and do the plan right, and I guarantee you will be in ketosis.Start date: 2/22/04 347/222/135 ~ 5'2"

I get mine @ Target. They help me alot when I think im not losing or am mad about it not coming off quick. I get Bayer. It comes with 50 for about $7.99Comment

Most stores around me carry them behind the pharmacy counter. You just need to ask for them. They must be a hot shop lifter item! LOL I used them at first as a motivator, but I don't use them anymore.Michele SW250/CW 226/GW150 F, 38, 5'6"
