  • Ketosis test strips

I live in Rhode island and don't know where to find these test strips. my only way right now of measuring is by my breath. We have walmart, target, cvs, brooks and walgreen stores; or can I order them online off a website.

    Re: Ketosis test strips

True be told, you really don't need those strips as long as you can recognize the physical signs of ketosis (See the FAQ section of the board for the FAQ about that).

Some people do find using them reassuring, but they're not really necessary....

          Re: Ketosis test strips

I used mine like 3-4 times, and then I realized that as long as I was following the plan as Dr. Atkins wrote, I was in ketosis. I also do not have alot of the standard symptons, but I know I am.

The strips don't always work for everyone either, and how much water you drink too can alter the results.

Really, save yourself the $$$ and do the plan right, and I guarantee you will be in ketosis.

          Goal #3: 222 - 3rd 10% - Lowest Atkins weight

I get mine @ Target. They help me alot when I think im not losing or am mad about it not coming off quick. I get Bayer. It comes with 50 for about $7.99

I have never used the strips, but I was thinking about starting to use them now as I am moving up in OWL.

Most stores around me carry them behind the pharmacy counter. You just need to ask for them. They must be a hot shop lifter item! LOL I used them at first as a motivator, but I don't use them anymore.
