  • mixing rungs Question??

    What about if I decide to try a different vegie that I hadn't tried before while I am on the dairy rung or higher?? Can I do both in the same week/day? Or would it be 3 days of one and 4 of the other sort of thing?

    Also I have been having 2 salads a day since day 1. Containing 2oz lettuce/romaine, cucumber, tomato and chives. Do I have to continue to get my base carbs from these salads are can I get them say from doing a broccoli salad or a cauliflower/egg salad(I'm pretty sure I have read a recipe somewhere with these)??

    Is there a certain number of carbs you should be getting just from the vegies??

    yep cause you don't add 5 more net carbs of both you use the new to you veggie as part of your old carbs whatever that number level was and you have that new to you veggie no more then 3 times this week then you can have it every day if you donm't have any reactions. At the same time tyou are exploring the dairy rung and will be using the new 5 net carbs to get those foods into your WOE.

    If youy have a problem then you will have to test to se if it was the nes to you veggie, the new food rung, the new food from that new to you rung or the new to you total net carb amount.

    Have fun and take very good notes on how you are feeling after you eat so you know immediately if you are having food cravings and need to put those new foods.

    Once you have added a rung you should be getting your induction 3 cups of veggies plus your new OWL carbs from the rungs you have already done but you don't hsave to keep having 5 from every rung every day.

    Like you could find you can handle only 35 net carbs but you can handle up to rung 8 so you can have some foods from any erung you have passed with your 3 cups from induction and make your meals.
