  • Modified OWL - any tips?

    HI

I am doing modified OWL as I find Induction just too restricting.

Does anyone have any tips? I really want to avoid carb creep... do you just choose one previously climbed rung each day?

    Any tips would be appreciated

For the Modified OWL, you need to stay at Induction level carbs as you move up the carb ladder.

So, you'll need to count your carbs very strictly to make sure you don't exceed 20 net carbs daily. That's the only way you'll avoid carb creep. Regular OWL is alittle more forgiving in terms of carb creep because once you find your CCLL and as long as you stay below it, you'll lose weight.

You climb the rungs according to OWL rules. So one rung per week or more. If any food causes a return of your blood sugar instability problems or causes a lack of weight loss, then you drop that food from your menu.
