  • Induction/Extended Induction

Hi everyone, ok yesterday was my hubby's first day on Atkins and Iam proud that he is doing good , so I restarted with him so he can get the hang of this WOE, but today I was thinking that maybe I should do extended induction, until his 14 days are over and then move on from there starting over in OWL what do anyone think?

There is no difference between extended induction and induction, is there?? I thought it was the same rules. If that is so it really doesn't matter what you call the next two weeks you are eating the same food. Or am I mixed up?

There's really no need for you to cut back your carbs to Induction level. If you want to go through this with your husband, you might want to eat at your OWL carb level but stick to the Rung 1 and 2 foods. That way you won't be preparing 2 different meals---you'll just be eating more veggies and nuts for snacks and such.

I agree. The same rules apply. I think some introduce nuts during extended induction but for me it was same rules as induction.

I also agree with what Megs posted. No need to go back to induction.

Don't see the need to go back, also. But it's a lovely caring thing to be prepared to do, in the name of solidarity with your hubby!

mjett, I don't have any advice. I just had to tell you how good you look. There is a huge difference since the last picture you posted.
