I'm making no bake cheesecake for Thanksgiving,and I wanted to know if unsweetened strawberries or frozens cherries was okay to use for toppings.

As long as they don't have sugar added, and as long as you are on the appropriate rung for them, then yes, it's fine. The strawberries are probably a better choice than the cherries though. If you are eating nuts, you could toast some sliced almonds and sprinkle those on top as well.

If you boil them in water (about 2 parts strawberries, 1 part water) with splenda (to taste)you can boil them down to a nice sauce that is fabulous cheesecake topping and thickens nicely. If you are not at the berrie rung, you can boil down and sweeten rhubarb. I love rhubarb sauce though i've never had it on a cheesecake, i'm sure it would be good.Jen, 39, F

yep if you are opn the berry rung use berries if you are on the other fruit rung use cherries.
