    3 months on OWL/4 months total

    Well...I just finished my third month of OWL. I have lost a total of 40 pounds even. I am on rung 9. While I don't eat from all the rungs all the time. I do partake regularly of winter squash, milk and mandarin oranges. I have tried other stuff..lived on LC Chili for almost a week...but eat the above the most. Water plays an important roll on this WOE...I try to get in 12 cups a day minimum. Here is the break down of my months.

    2 weeks induction=12
    2 weeks extended induction=3
    1 month OWL=9
    2 months OWL=8
    3 months OWL=8
    Total= 40 pounds.

      Thanks!!

      Yesterday I had
      Breakfast: fried egg (used bacon grease)
      Lunch was grilled chicken salad with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, Cheaddar cheese and ranch dressing(resturant)
      Dinner was steak(stirfried with bacon grease) and winter squash. Also had some Mozz cheese

      Drank my 12 cups of water also.

            Congrats, Elsie! I just hit the big 40 lb milestone too. I'm really bad about drinking enough water though, I wonder if it helps in to lose weight.

            Are you including exercise?

              Thanks Energizeme. No I haven't really. I am moving way more though. Cleaning the house more and having fun with the kids...racing them...taking the stairs...that sort of thing.
