    oooh i went waaaaay off. and i'm struggling badly. i've tried to reinduct and i still keep slipping. i think it's a mind thing. i need a stong swift kick in the pants and then a really big hug to help me through. i'm gonna make it, it just taking longer than i anticipated. what i really would like is a low carb world i could escape to where there are no temptations. darned bread, bread, bread bread!!!!!!!! humph i think i got it out. o.k. one more time bread! why do i love bread? somebody please help me stop the insanity.
    still dedicated just having a hard time

    Okay, here's what you do. You make a commitment to yourself to do 5 days of strict Induction, so you can get back into ketosis. During those 5 days, avoid all the carby stuff. If you absolutely have to have bread in the house, buy the kind of bread you don't like. Don't buy cookies, cakes, etc. Ban them from your home for one week. Your family won't die because there are no cookies or chips in the house. Substitute those things with fresh fruit and vegetables (which are better for them anyways!)

    There's a line in the food intolerances chapter of DANDR that says, we tend to love the foods that are the worst for our bodies.

        I'm a bread lover, too, and that's the hardest thing for me to give up. Use lettuce in place of your bread for sandwiches. Once induction is over and you get far enough along, they do have low carb bread. I've seen it from 4 to 7 grams of carbs. I ate that before I started induction again and I must say that after that, I can never eat white bread again. Just the smell of it is not appealing to me any longer.
