Hey guys, just checking in to see if I did something wrong...I have been using fitday to track activity and carbs/calories. You need to eat 3500 calories above your "normal" calorie intake in order to gain 1 pound of fat. So your gain is most likely water weight. The most common food culprit of water retention is salted foods.

could be from your weight lifting - muscle's heavy and i think it retains some water when it gets torn down for the rebuilding process.

Yes, as not2late said, the peperoni, bacon bits and luncheon meat might have had a lot of sodium in them so you are most likely retaining water.
Try not using them for several days and see what happens.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
