  • One Week into Rung 1

Im feeling wonderful. this weeks veggie is kohlrabi. Im down 11.5 pounds so far since 1/9/06 and the best part.......... 2.5 of those pounds were during my first week at Rung 1!!!! Yay for 5 more veggie carbs! For my mini-goal of 10 pounds, Im going to get a pedicure! had I known Owl was like this, I would have skipped that extra 2 weeks of induction and moved right into OWL from the initial 2 weeks.

And on a side note... I am 3 pounds away from the lowest weight I ever attained while doing WeightWatchers. (I did WW for over a year and lost no more then 15 pounds..... gotta be the carbs! I wont knock WW because it does work for some, like my mom. but its not a cure all.) I plan on whizzing right past those 3 pounds on my way downward while I enjoy my ribeye steak!

I'm finding out the same thing about OWL and I wish I wouldn't have stayed an extra 2 weeks on entended induction. This WOL is awesome because not only does it teach us to eat properly (and I do believe this is the proper way of eating), but we can lose weight a little quicker than other programs out there while not going hungry.

Congratulations on doing so well. Keep up the great work!

        Good for you!

If you think Rung 1 has opened up a wider variety of food to you, wait until you get to the higher rungs.

Great job ladies!! It's great to hear that you can still loose weight while doing OWL. And I bet that's why it doesn't seem like there are many of us out here!!
