    So... can we have more than 3 cups of vegetables when starting owl? I am looking foward to eating more than 3 cups of veges. I understand staying below your carb level and only adding 5 net carbs per week and one new vege per week that you have not had on induction.

    You get your 3 cups from induction and then 5 carbs more of induction list veggies. take cauliflower for example... 1 cup of raw cauliflower is 5.2 carbs, 2.5 fiber so its 2.7 of net carbs. You would get nearly 2 cups of raw cauliflower for your 5 carb extra that day.

    Foods I cannot have-
    Black beans.- instant headache and upset belly.
    spaghetti squash mixed with tomatoes- ravenous

      you can have more then one new to you food a week just not more then 3 times the first week and you really don't want to eat more then one at any meal or snackso you know right away what food caused the cravings or blood sugar reaction.
      you keep those 3 cups of induction veggies for like too and you add more from thoses lists during rung 1 of OWL up to 5 net carbs worth each day if your body can handle it.
      See Atkins is really a veggie eating plan over 6 servings a day in just induction and now even more.
