I'm thinking about moving to the berrie rung next week but the quality of the fresh fruit is not good in my area right now. I haven't checked the frozen berries yet. Does anyone know if they have added sugar or not??

There are some really great berries frozen! I can find store brand (Meijers) without sugar easily. And the fruits are picked when they are fresh so they do taste yummy! Pre-Atkins Id make strawberry shortcakes in the winter with frozen berries and there was little difference other then berry appearance.

Ohhh berries... mmm... I like to take a container of raspberries and a container of blackberries, mix them together, put some in a bowl with a little splenda-sweetened whipped cream. What a treat! I don't even mind temporarily limiting my fruit intake as long as I get to eat (what are imo) the best fruits of all time. Yay berries!

I eat the frozen berries all the time with a little bit of splenda. I buy the fruit frozen - blackberries, raspberries, blueberries and mix them together in a ziploc bag and put them in the freezer. When I want some - I pour some into a bowl and heat them up in the microwave so they are warm when I eat them. Mmmmm - just like eating a pie (minus the crust) right out of the oven! Enjoy....
