  • New way of tracking weight loss (graph)

    I know some of you weigh yourself weekly and use that to judge how much weight was lost in the last week. If that 7th day happens to be on a day when there is a weight jump either direction, it could be a little misrepresentative. So I went back through my daily weight measurements since the beginning. For the 7th day of the week, I made my "official" weight the AVERAGE of all the weights taken that week. What resulted was a much smoother graph that I think is a more accurate account of my weight loss.



    And here is a graph of my daily losses to compare:



    Why am I doing this? I don't know. I guess I like to analyze numbers. Gives me something to do while I wait to reach goal. Just that kinda guy.

    smoothing out the peeks and valleys can help those that are scaleaphobics and allow the scale number to dictate how they feel about the hard work they have done on their Atkins.
